Dialogue
To begin our final year we were given a 1 week short project using dialogue as our theme to open up our creative thinking and design process.
Began a visual conversation using materials that are outside our specialism. I focused on using thread as my material a created a series of pieces with thread on it's own or combined with fabric, paper, paint, glitter, plastic, kitchen foil, cling film, string, lace, sweet wrapper, foam ,ribbon and rubber allowing a visual dialogue and different interpretations or meaning to the viewer. I found the project very engaging as it gave me a new design perspective for jewellery in the future and confidence in exploring different materials other than metal so here is my journey.
